Local filmmaker Meli Tuqota Jnr submits “Jone Wise” to film festivals

11 months ago, local filmmaker Meli Tuqota Jnr created Jone Wise, a locally made short film that riffs off the immensely popular action franchise John Wick. You can watch the full video below but for Meli after the film came out he moved on to other projects. However, after speaking with another local creator Dave Lavaki, Tuqota realised that Jone Wise would not just resonate with local audiences but was good enough for foreign film festivals. So, he’s done exactly that.
We wish him and his film all the best. Meli is currently working on another film project which should be released later this year. In the meantime as mentioned above, here is Jone Wise.
