World’s Loneliest Orca Finally set Free

After 50 years in captivity, Lolita the world’s loneliest orca will finally be released. The orca was kept for years in a tiny enclosure after hunters captured and dumped her in a tiny tank. A few days ago it was announced Miami Seaquariun, along with Florida Non-profit friends of Lolita, philanthropist and owner of NFL’s Indianapolis Colts Jom Irsay, struck a deal to release the whale so she can go to “home waters”. The 57 year old orca, the oldest to be held in captivity, was puliled from performing after falling ill.
