Kanye West is now just Ye

Kanye Wests request to legally change his name from Kanye Omari West to just Ye, with no middle or last name was granted by a Los Angeles Judge.

Ye is a name he had called himself on his social media pages for years. Back in 2018 he twitted that he wanted the change saying, “the being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE.” The petition was filed on Aug. 24th and it  cited “personal reasons.”

So now he is officially known as “Ye”
