Let’s just take a minute to process this…ok imagine that $2000 shopping done by your 22month old child. Ouch, that’s got to hurt.
A toddler somehow managed to purchase $2000 worth of furniture on his mum’s phone. 22-month-old Ayaansh from New Jersey may not be able to read or write, but he sure knows how to do a big shopping!
Courier vans with packages have been visiting their house all week. When the parents realized what had happened, they quickly called the store ‘Walmart’ if they could cancel the order but unfortunately, they were already out for delivery.
The mum admitted that she loves her online shopping and that she had her card details saved to the account, which little Aayansh used to make the purchase.
The couple were still in the process of checking out different furniture for their new house. So they had all their options saved in the shopping cart to finalize later. The toddler’s father Pramod did not expect that his son would order everything that was saved in the cart. He was surprised how he managed to even buy it because there are a few pop questions like ‘are you sure’ and then a selection of payment.
“Moving forward, we will put tough passcodes or face recognition so when he picks up the phone he finds it in locked condition,” dad said.
The family explained to their local Walmart about the situation and they are happy to give a full refund to the things they return.
Those pieces of furniture will be a reminder of Aayansh’s epic shopping spree!
