Russian and Belarussian Flags Banned From Australian Opens

There is no room for hate. Even though fans are allowed to cheer with their Home Country flags at the Australian Opens, there has been a ban on these two flags as fans had caused “disruptions” with it after fans asked Russian players to sign them and left it at courtside disrupting the notion of providing the best possible environment to enjoy Tennis. This ban is the latest of many actions taken condemning the Russia- Ukraine invasion. Russian and Belarussian players are allowed to compete as individuals but not under their flag/banner
