KING COBRA ESCAPES FROM ZOO AND HIDES FROM STAFF

Imagine working in a Zoo and then you’re told that one of the deadliest snakes in the zoo has escaped.

Not just any snake but the King Cobra. This was what happened at The Skansen Zoo in Stockholm, Sweden.

Staff had been hunting the snake which escaped its reptile hut over the weekend.

The reptile nicknamed “Houdini” after the famous escape artist had only arrived at the zoo a few days before.

Staff believe Sir Väs – which translates to Sir Hiss – could be in the ceiling of one of the buildings after the enclosure was fitted with new energy-saving bulbs.

To be quite frank if I worked there, I would have resigned the day the snake went missing
