KACEY MUSGRAVES AT THE GRAMMYS

I’m sure you heard by now that Beyonce scooped Album of the Year with her country album Cowboy Carter.
There has been mixed reactions regarding this and rumours has been brewing regarding Kacey Migrates reaction to the announcement.
According to video that went viral on social media Kacey Musgrave created with a ‘stank face’ and fans have speculated a little tension between the “Golden Hour” singer and Single Ladies” artist.
Musgrave has come out to clarify these rumors “It’s a sensationalistic false narrative meant to pit two talented female artists against each other,” a rep for Kacey told E! News in a Feb. 3 statement. “There was simply no scowl or expression made.”
And while Kacey has now put those rumors to rest, her statement wasn’t the first time she spoke out about her thoughts on Beyoncé’s place in country music. In fact, the “Golden Hour” singer—whose track “The Architect” took home the award for Best Country Song at the 2025 award show—previously shared that she thought there was plenty of room for Bey in the genre.
“The more the merrier,” Kacey shared in an interview. “I don’t really care. It doesn’t affect what I’m doing. It doesn’t affect me. I’ve always been just doing my own thing.”
She added, “It’s just fun to watch.”
