Its a monster?! Its a ghost?! ….No, its an ant! A close-up of an angry ant is one of 57 Images of Distinction in the Nikon Micrography Competition. The contest seeks to “recognize excellence in photography through the microscope”. It received almost 1,300 entries from 72 countries, according to Nikon. But how scary does that ant look!
