FURY THROWS DOWN THE GAUNTLET
Written by Ateca Tukana on January 7, 2022
Just a few days ago I was talking about Francis Ngannou and his interests in gunning for Fury when he comes off contract with UFC. His last contracted fight is on the 22nd of this month and then he will be a free man.
Tyson Fury heard of the talk and has now called Ngannou out.
Who would like to see me fight this beast boxing rules @ufc gloves?@danawhite @francis_ngannou pic.twitter.com/xONNoT8NzR

Ngannou is set to fight Ciryl Gane on Jan. 22 as the main event at UFC 270, which is the final fight of his current UFC contract. Fury doesn’t have a fight scheduled, but he’s expected to face WBC mandatory title challenger Dillian Whyte in the future.

The two heavyweight champions continued jabbing at each other, sending their fans into a frenzy about the possibility of a fight.
After I handle business on Jan. 22 I'll fight you under any special rule set you want. In a ring, an octagon or a phone booth. https://t.co/twRhBnFwwH
