All the artists releasing new music before the end of the year

Not to scare you but, the end of 2021 is almost approaching! 9 more Wednesdays (from when this story was published) to be exact. But before the year is over, some big names are releasing some new music. From albums to singles, below is a list of the new music coming out before the end of the year from our favorite artists.

ALBUMS:

Elton John – The Lockdown Sessions

October 22nd

Sir Elton John’s album The Lockdown Sessions was released on October 22nd and features a whole array of different artists including Stevie Wonder, Stevie Nicks, and Glen Campbell.

Ed Sheeran – =

October 29th

Ed Sheeran has announced his fifth studio album, ‘=’ to be released on the 29th of October.

The album will feature 14 songs, which Sheeran said he cut down from a much longer list in a “painstaking process.

The lead single Bad Habits became his 10th UK number one hit and spent seven weeks at number one in New Zealand.

ABBA – Voyage

November 5th

For the first time in almost 40 years, the group has released new music and announced a brand new album, as well as exciting news of a unique stadium concert (Tickets for new #ABBAVoyage dates for October-December 2022 go on sale Wednesday 3rd November at 10am).

The Swedish superstars have announced their comeback with a 10-track album titled ‘Voyage’ – released on 5 November.

Rod Stewart – The Tears Of Hercules

November 12th

Sir Rod Stewart’s new record is all about love and sex.

The 76-year-old music legend has announced his 31st studio album, ‘The Tears of Hercules’, and released the lead single ‘One More Time’, which is about wanting to bed a former flame after a breakup.

Ronan Keating – Songs From Home

Release date November 12th

Ronan has handpicked 12 songs that celebrate his heritage for the collection, which is released on November 12 via Decca Records, and the record also includes an original song.

Adele – 30

Release date November 19

Adele is officially back! The singer has released a brand new single Easy On Me on the 15th of this month and it is taking the world over by storm. The much-anticipated brand new album “30” will be released on November 19.

Norah Jones – I Dream Of Christmas

Norah Jones will release her first-holiday album, I Dream Of Christmas, on October 15th. It ill features a mix of originals and beloved holiday songs such as “Blue Christmas,” “Run Rudolph Run,” “Christmas Time Is Here” and “Winter Wonderland.” Norah penned four songs for the collection.

 

Kelly Clarkson – When Christmas Comes Around

October 15th

Kelly Clarkson has released her latest Christmas-themed single Christmas Isn’t Cancelled (Just You).

The 39-year-old singer dropped the festive track on Thursday, which comes as the very first song to be released from her upcoming Christmas-themed studio album, ‘When Christmas Comes Around…’.

Kelly’s album was released on October 15 via Atlantic Records, and it’s the star’s ninth studio production and her second Christmas album after 2013’s ‘Wrapped in Red’.

Michael Buble – Christmas Super Deluxe Limited Box Set

November 19th

The king of Christmas has an announcement to do with none other than Christmas itself!

Michael Bublé has announced that he has recorded two brand new festive tunes, the original track ‘The Christmas Sweater’, and a new studio version of ‘Let It Snow!’, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with the BBC Big Band Orchestra as a part of a special Super Deluxe Limited Edition Box Set.

The special 2021 box set will be released on November 19 and is pegged to be the ultimate festive gift for Christmas lovers.

Steve Perry – The Season

November 5th

Journey’s lead singer Steve Perry has announced that he is gearing up to release his first-ever Christmas album, ‘The Season’.

Alongside the album announcement, Steve released the first single from the album (despite it only being September) with the song ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’.

The album is due out on November 5th.

Bruce Springsteen – The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts

November 19

Bruce Springsteen has a live album being released alongside a DVD filled with ten never-before-released performances from the Madison Square Garden MUSE benefit concerts.

“The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts” represent the highest quality and best recorded Bruce performances from an explosive, ascendant and rarely-filmed era of the E Street Band.
