WRAPPING YOUR ROAST IN A SLEEPING BAG

Now every person swears by some sort of secret marinade as the secret to a nice tender moist roast.
But did you ever think about associating a nice tender roast with a sleeping bag?. Well that is how Mary Berry says she gets the best roast.
The former Great British Bakeoff presenter spilled her cooking secret on the Dish podcast to co-hosts Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett – revealing that she’ll be wrapping her Christmas turkey in an old sleeping bag while she enjoys a festive tipple with her family on the big day.
“This time I’m cooking it without foil, I shall cover it with foil once it’s done, then I shall put some tea towels over the top.
“I’ve got an old sleeping bag that’s got no zip and I put that over the top in the corner of the kitchen and then I shall take that in the back of the car to Annabel’s (Mary’s daughter).
She swears the sleeping bag keeps the meat nice and moist and tender.
