Woman who ran over cheating husband and mistress avoids jail

In March 2021 Christie Lee Kennedy found her husband David Larkin kissing another woman, Zowie Noring and crashed her car into them.A court was told that she had tracked him down using the Find My Phone app after he’d said to her that he was going to pick up their children from daycare. Kennedy said she saw her husband and the other woman ‘kissing and cuddling’ and accelerated as she drove towards them before applying her brakes.She hit both of them with her car, then got out and punched Noring in the face.During her trial Kennedy pleaded guilty to dangerous operation of a motor vehicle while a jury found her not guilty on two counts of malicious act with intent to disable.The jury was unable to deliver a verdict whether unanimous or majority on two charges of assault causing bodily harm, and two charges of assault occasioning bodily harm were withdrawn against her.
