Rust Moves on after Reaching A Settlement

While preparing to film an action scene for his low budget western film Rust in New Mexico last October, Alec Baldwin was handed a .45 Colt replica revolver where he accidently shot Halyna Hutchins.

The family of Hutchins, the cinematographer killed on set, and Alec Baldwin reach an undisclosed settlement. Hutchins’ widower Matthew Hutchins will be an executive producer on the film. The filming of “Rust” will resume in January 2023. Matt Souza and the Hutchins family have reached a settlement with Rust Movie Productions.
