Man Arrested for Stealing 2 Monkeys from a Zoo!

Davion Irvin, a 24-year-old man linked to an unusual string of crimes that kept the Dallas Zoo on the lookout for missing animals, told police he stole two monkeys from their enclosure and took them onto the city’s light rail system to make his getaway. He was arrested last week after asking questions at a downtown Dallas aquarium about animals and is charged with six counts of animal cruelty and two counts of burglary. Police found the monkeys, named Bella and Finn, at an empty home in Lancaster, a Dallas suburb, and found multiple cats and pigeons, as well as dead feeder fish and fish food.
