Korean Series ‘Celebrity’ Tops Netflix’s Non-English Chart in 2 Weeks

Netflix’s Korean series “Celebrity” has risen to the top of the streaming platform’s weekly viewership chart for non-English TV series in two weeks after its release

“Celebrity,” which was released on June 30, was its most-watched non-English language series for the first week of July from July 3 to 9, logging a combined 5.6 million viewing hours around the world.

The series ranked top in 10 countries, mostly Asian and South American countries like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Bolivia and Peru as well as Korea, while also being among the top 10 in 52 other countries.

The 12-episode series depicts the reality of the glamorous and competitive life of social media influencers.
