DAVE CHAPPELLE TACKELED ON STAGE DURING PERFORMANCE ON TUESDAY NIGHT

On Tuesday night famous comedian Dave Chappelle performed at the Hollywood Bowl. As he was finishing off one of his set’s and ready to walk of the stage, a man from the audience jumped onto the stage and tackled Chappelle.

LAPD confirmed these reports saying that the man that tackled him was also armed with a dangerous weapon. Quick action from Chapelle’s security detail got the situation under control as they apprehended the attacker. This was no easy feat as they had to chase after him around the stage!!

No one was seriously injured and thank goodness for that, otherwise the conversation the world would be having today would be completely different.

I almost died in laughter when Chris Rock jumped on stage, grabbed the mic and asked Chappelle if that was Will Smith! It was a good vakaji though I’ll give him that.

However, all joking aside, as you process this Dave Chappelle incident, do you think that “the slap that was heard all around the world” at the Oscars indirectly gave people permission  to display such acts of violence with stand up comedians?
