With rugby increasingly being seen as more than a sport and the opportunities available to Fijian players it is always good to see our young ruggers get a chance to further their educated and enhance their rugby skills in another country. The Te Puke Intermediate Academy in New Zealand posted this on their Facebook page yesterday:
We are proud to introduce our 2 new Fijian Rugby Scholarship recipients for 2024. Simeli “Dime” Vatuwaliwali (Kaif Primary School) and Simione Rarasea (Marist Brothers Primary Suva). TPI are really excited for their arrival later this term.
Congratulations Simeli and Simione and we wish you all the best in your schooling and playing!
