Gwyneth Paltrow Wins Ski Crash Trial And Is Awarded $1

The verdict came after only 2 hours of deliberation after the 8 day trial. It didn’t take the jury long to make up its mind. Back in 2016, Paltrow was involved in an incident on the Utah Ski Resort with Sanderson, a retired optometrist, who is alleging the US actor crashed into him and caused him significant injuries. Gwyneth’s testimony to the court was “Mr Sanderson categorically hit me on the ski slope and that is the truth”. Sanderson sued the actress US $300,000 while Gwyneth countersued a measly $1 plus compensation for legal fees. What can she know get  with a dollar?
